I run mine shaved, unless it's raining, then I run them full tread. They need to be heated up. I usually run the warm up lap plus one more lap, easing into my cornering speeds. Also, it's my understanding that most road racing tires don't do as well in autocross, since it takes some time to get them to optimum operating temperature. Most autocross runs take less time than what's needed to heat them properly.
